![]() ![]() Dee and Bull Diesel have “reconnected with their lost crew” and are on their way back home to prepare for a long journey ahead. ![]() Hesse says that “Gear Shift” picks up where Ignition left off, and is a chance for fans to approach the next story arc right away. Since then, Dee and her friends have gained a big following and were first published in print via Boom! Studios as a limited series in 2015 and an original graphic novel in 2016, Tyler Hesse’s Diesel: Ignition. Tyson Hesse originally launched character designs for Dee on his personal blog ( Boxer Hockey), inspired by “adventure manga like One Piece and stories about burgeoning friendships like How to Train Your Dragon”. Gear Shift takes Dee and her crew in a totally new direction that I think fans of the first story will really enjoy! I can’t wait to continue telling Dee’s story as she faces a new world of danger and takes on real responsibilities for the first time. This one-shot will arrive in time for autumn. ![]() ![]() We’ll see the return of Dee Diesel in Tyson Hesse’s Diesel: Gear Shift Special, a follow up to the graphic novel. Boom! Studios have made their second announcement in their “Road to San Diego Comic Con” series, and it’s the return of series Diesel by Tyson Hesse in a Special coming up in October 2017. ![]()
